MORE than 1,700 properties have been affected by a power cut in the S71 and S75 areas of Barnsley.
Northern Powergrid say that they are aware of the incident and that it’s affecting 1,751 properties.
We understand that the power cut is affecting the traffic lights in the area.
A spokesperson said: “For this type of power cut we normally restore power to 90 per cent of our customers in about 90 minutes.
“We currently estimate your power will be back on by 12.45pm.”
