OFFICERS from Barnsley’s North Neighbourhood Policing Team will be at Mapplewell Village Hall on Friday to speak to the public.
They will be hosting the ‘brew with a bobby’ initiative at 2.30pm where residents are able to have a chat with their local police officers.
A spokesperson for the force added: “We will also be offering crime prevention advice and free merchandise including Smartwater, purse bells and mini torches.
“This is just one of many initiatives in which your local officers from the North NPT engage with members of the public to discuss any quality of life issues that matter to them.”
