THE percentage of people receiving positive coronavirus test results in Barnsley is at its highest figure since July.
Latest figures show that 13.9 per cent of the 12,113 people taking a PCR test - where swabs have to be sent to a lab - are receiving a positive result, the highest number since July 25.
There were also almost 80,000 rapid lateral flow tests - where results are given in less than an hour - taken last month across the borough, bringing the total to 639,041.
