THIRTEEN residents have died within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test so far this month.
Latest figures, up to August 18, show that 13 residents have died this month - 25 died in the entirety of July.
This brings the number of deaths within 28 days in Barnsley to 843.
The town’s death rate is still the worst in the UK at 339.8 per 100,000 residents.
