OFFICERS tackled speeding in Hoyland today through targeted patrols.
The Barnsley South Neighbourhood Policing Team conducted speed checks on Armroyd Lane in Elsecar, and Clough Fields, Hoyland, following public concerns.
A spokesperson for the team said: “We requested the speed van from our Safety Camera Partnership Department to come and conduct some checks.
“Further locations that have been raised by our community will be visited soon.”
