A PROPERTY in Monk Bretton has been ordered to close for three months after it had become a nuisance to neighbours.

The property on Belmont Avenue was forced to close under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Police Act and will remain closed until October.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “The tenant has agreed to the closure, which will remain in place until October 20.

“Nobody except the tenant of the property and their close relatives or staff of Berneslai Homes, the council, NHS or South Yorkshire Police may enter the property during this time.”
