BARNSLEY CVS is on the look out for volunteers who want to assist with the vaccine roll-out.

Volunteers are wanted to help assist drivers in the car park or to assist with patients after their vaccination.

These are non-clinical roles and volunteers will not be required to provide medical care.

Anyone willing to help will be stationed at clinics at Priory Campus, Lundwood, and at other sites across the borough such as in the town centre or Dodworth.

A spokesperson for the CVS said: “Clinics tend to happen every Wednesday to Sunday from 9am to 7pm and volunteer shifts range from two to three-and-a-half hours.

“You can do as many or as few shifts as you are able and can pick shifts to suit your schedule.

“These roles will be ongoing over the coming weeks and all PPE will be provided.

“You must be over 16 to volunteer.”
