A YOUNG couple were pulled from a fire in a Wombwell flat on Thursday.
Fire crews were called to Station Road on Thursday (May 13) just after 8pm.
Crews from Dearne, Cudworth, and Tankersley stations attended after smoke started coming out of an electrical socket.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “A young couple were inside the property at the time of the incident, but were unharmed.
“Firefighters isolated the electrics and made the scene safe.”
