BARNSLEY Hospice is celebrating after reaching a landmark 20 years since its Inpatient Unit first opened its doors to patients.
The hospice, that provides life-changing care to patients and their families, built the specialist unit in May 2001.
Since then, the team have added two additional bedrooms and continued its support to Barnsley families over the last two decades.
Jan Walker, patient services director, said: “We are proud to have supported the community throughout this time, and would like to thank everyone who has ensured we can continue to do so, by raising funds for the hospice.”
