A CHARITY that helps provide guide dogs for the visually impaired is appealing for volunteers to help home the puppies in training.
The charity, Guide Dogs, is on the look out for families in South Yorkshire who can help look after a furry bundle of joy for 14 months.
The dog will go on to help a visually impaired or blind person to be more independent.
A spokesperson from the West, North, and South Yorkshire branch of the charity said: “Within this role, you will be responsible for caring for the basic needs of one of our pups and teaching the basic demands to become a guide dog in your home for 14 months.
“You will be responsible for socializing them in different environments and exposing them to the wider world, ready for their journey.”
