BARNSLEY Metrodome has been added to a list of locations where households or support bubbles can collect a Covid-19 home testing kit.

These support bubbles include pupils or staff from nurseries, primary schools, secondary schools or colleges who are able to pick up these tests from the Metrodome.

Eligible people can collect two packs of home test kits from the Metrodome between 10am and 4.30pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, or 10am to 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday.

Each pack contains seven tests.

A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “About one in three people with coronavirus don’t have symptoms, but can still pass it on to others.

“Regular testing of people without symptoms is important to help stop the virus spreading and protect your loved ones.

“As lockdown restrictions gradually ease, we all need to play our part to help protect each other.”

Eligible people can also collect two packs of home test kits from Lower Courthouse car park, County Way, Dorothy Hyman Sports Centre car park, Cudworth or at Summer Lane car park, Wombwell from 1pm until 7pm every day.
