ROAD improvement works will take place next week in Barugh Green.
Exstensive works will begin on the A637 in Barugh Green between Dearne Hall Road and Holly Bush Way from Monday (Jnauray 11).
The works are being completed by home developer, Barrat and David Wilson Homes to create a new roundabout, and are expected to last until the end of spring this year.
A spokesperson for Barnsley Council said: “Delays are expected with temporary traffic lights required to facilitate the safe phasing and construction of the works.
“Works are expected to be completed mainly Monday to Friday. Every effort will be made to keep disruption to a minimum.”
