THE DAUGHTER of a missing man has made an emotional appeal for information on his birthday after her dad has been missing more than a year.
Bethany Dainty, 20, last saw her dad Richard Dyson on November 15, 2019 after he dropped her off in Rotherham.
She reported her dad missing on November 25 after he missed their next arranged meeting.
Now, more than a year on, Bethany has not seen or heard from her dad and made an emotional appeal on Christmas Eve, on her dad's 58th birthday.
She said: “I saw my dad every single week without fail until that day in November last year when he didn’t come. I knew something was wrong but hoped desperately that he’d get in touch and let me know that there was a straightforward reason why he didn’t meet me.
“Since then, everything has felt like a nightmare. I miss him so much, he’s a great dad and we have so many lovely memories together.
“Dad, if you see this, please just let me know that you’re OK, that’s all I need this Christmas.”
Richard is described as being 5ft ten inches tall, with short, grey hair, and was last seen wearing a navy Kappa jacket with white stitching.
