BARNSLEY Hospital would like the opinions of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) patients about their experiences of the maternity services.

The survey aims to find the experiences of BAME mothers who have had a baby in Barnsley in the past year, or is due to have a baby at the hospital.

Hospital staff are keen to discover the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on BAME mothers, who stats show are eight-times more likely to be hospitalised due to a Covid-19 infection.

Results of the survey could help improve the service or future mothers.
