BARNSLEY Hospice’s charity shops - which were forced to close their doors due to difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic - is set to open its new retail hub next month.

The shops which had been a fixture across the borough for more than 30 years had to permanently close due to lack of funds.

Now, Barnsley Hospice has announced that its new ‘Retail Hub’, based at the Fall Bank Industrial Estate in Dodworth, will open on Monday, December 7.

The hub, described at the charity’s superstore will sell merchandise and leftover donations in a bid to raise important funds for the cash-strapped hospice.

Facial coverings must be worn at all times.
