A 33-YEAR-OLD man was killed after a car collided with a pedestrian on the M1.

On Saturday at 7.05pm, emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway between junction 37 and junction 38.

It is reported that a white Toyota HiAce collided with the pedestrian in the carriageway.

A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said: “A 33-year-old man sadly died at the scene.

“The man’s family have been informed. No-one else was injured.
