A STATELY home is set to reopen its doors after being closed to the public since March.

From Saturday (October 3), Wentworth Woodhouse will welcome visitors back after a spell of closures during the coronavirus outbreak.

In July, Wentworth Woodhouse Preservation Trust worked to welcome outdoor visitors back safely, but is now set to open fully.

A raft of coronavirus restrictions will be in place in ensure visitor safety including a one-way route and face coverings compulsory indoors.

Tickets must be booked in advance to allow people to enter the home in timed slots, but once inside are free to follow the route.

The home’s tea room, gift shop and house tours are also set to return.
