A POPULAR farm is set to reopen having been closed to the public since March.

On July 4, Cannon Hall Farm will welcome visitors back after a spell of closure during the coronavirus outbreak.

But now that government advice allows people to enjoy the outdoors together again, staff at the farm have worked on ways of welcoming outdoor visitors back safely.

It will be made compulsory that visitors will have to pre-book tickets before they arrive, to limit and monitor the amount of people around the farm.

The farm will also see protective screens at contact points, new signage to remind visitors and staff of physical distancing and increased hand sanitising stations.

A spokesperson for Cannon Hall Farm said: “At this stage we will not be able to open all of the farm attraction, so the day out you experience may be very different to the one you are used to.

“However please be patient with our team who are working, and have worked, incredibly hard to keep going through this difficult time.”

Gardens will open at 10am and close at 5.30pm each day.
