CELEBRATIONS to mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day will still go ahead tomorrow, but will take place online.
Barnsley Council will be hosting a day of celebrations which will be done online due to social distancing guidelines.
The event will begin with a speech by Mayor, Coun Pauline Markham followed by a two minutes' silence at 11am.
There will aso be a range of activities throughout the day.
The event will run from 10.45am unti 7pm and can be accessed via the Virtual VE Day Facebook page.
