A BARNSLEY man is among 18 people charged as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal conversion of blank firing weapons and ammunition into viable firearms and ammunition.

Last July, neighbourhood wardens investigated a report of fly-tipping in an alleyway on Milgate Street, Royston, and found a quantity of household waste.
