A WOMAN was found dead inside a car in Wombwell.
Police were called to Goodyear Crescent at about 9.15am last Friday, following reports of concern made to the police regarding the woman’s welfare.
A woman in her 20s was arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug, a spokesman from South Yorkshire Police confirmed. “Upon arrival, the woman was pronounced dead,” they added.
“The woman who was arrested has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
“Officers are not currently treating the woman’s death as suspicious.”
