TWO men have been charged after a pursuit through Barnsley.
On Wednesday August 16 at around 1.40pm, officers engaged in a fail to stop vehicle pursuit in Worsborough.
The pursuit continued into Birdwell, Hoyland, Elsecar and then Wombwell and Darfield.
The pursuit lasted 30 mins and required a police helicopter before the vehicle was abandoned and the two men arrested.
Alex Goddard, 28, of Worsbrough was charged with driving whilst disqualified, dangerous driving, failure to stop, no insurance and no licence.
Nathan Tibble, 26, of Darfield was charged with cannabis possession.
Both have appeared at Barnsley Magistrate's Court and Goddard was remanded in custody and Tibble was bailed.
