CHILDREN will be able to enjoy several activities at their local library over the summer.

Barnsley Libraries will be hosting free workshops throughout the six-week period called Mini Makers@Barnsley Libraries.

Children aged three to eight can participate in activities including Play-Doh circuits, paper circuits, scribble robots, box robots and fruit pianos.

All events are free and for most activities you need to book a place, though some you can just turn up. All children need to be accompanied by an adult.

Visit the Barnsley Council website to see what activities are happening at your local library and call 01226 773555 to book your child on.
