A WOMBWELL dad is preparing for a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity to raise funds for Barnsley Hospital which he says has always been there for him and his family.
Joshua Parkinson, 20, will be doing a skydive on June 2, along with other supporters of Barnsley Hospital Charity.
Joshua said: “I saw that one of my friends was doing this and I just thought it was a great chance to give something back to the hospital. They cared for my daughter Scarlett when she was born and other members of my family and have always been there for me and my family,
“It was an opportunity that I couldn’t turn down and I am really looking forward to it – it really is a once in a lifetime chance.”
