BARNSLEY Hospice held their annual takeover day at Oakwell on Saturday.
Throughout the day, volunteers held a raffle in the Legends Suite, collected donations and the hospice’s mascot Oscar was able to meet Barnsley FC’s mascot Toby Tyke.
The final amount raised is currently being totted up and will be announced in the near future.
A spokesperson for the hospice said: “It was amazing to see the incredible support Reds fans have for Barnsley Hospice and the generosity of the local community – especially as this year marks our 30th anniversary.
“Thank you so much to Barnsley Football Club for allowing us to ‘take over’ once again. As well as everyone who donated and supported us on the day.”
