MORE than 250 babies were born at Barnsley Hospital last month.
The majority were boys – 130 – while a total of 126 girls were born, including two sets of twins.
The heaviest baby weighed in at ten pounds and three ounces while the smallest was just two pounds and three ounces.
January 29 was the busiest day for midwives, as 13 babies were born.
