CANNABIS plants with an estimated street value of almost £1m were seized by police yesterday.
Officers from Barnsley South Neighbourhood Policing Team were involved in the seizure of almost 1,000 plants from an address on High Street in Wombwell.
Police say that the plants, at various stages of growth, have an estimated street value of just under £1m.
At present, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
