HUNDREDS of bikers were in Hoyland on Wednesday to pay their respects to a young dad who died in a road traffic collision last month.
Aaron Smith, known to his friends and family as AJ, was involved in the incident on Park Road in Worsbrough on November 22.
He died a day later, and his family said they were ‘bursting with pride’ after he donated his organs following his death.
His funeral took place on Wednesday, and hundreds of motorcyclists made their way to Hoyland to lead his procession to Barnsley Crematorium, Ardsley.
Parents Andy and Jayne Smith, of Hawshaw Lane, said that he was the ‘most amazing son’ and the outpouring of support they have received since his death has been ‘overwhelming’.
