A CARE home is getting into the Christmas spirit after responding to its residents’ wishes for new festive decorations.
Bollingbroke House in Brierley is all trimmed up for Christmas after a recent residents meeting, where home managers listened to what those in their care wanted to see this year.
Home manager Lynsey Walker said: “We wanted to hear what our residents would personally like to see.
“There were lots of responses, some wanted more traditional colours and styles, while others wanted something new.”
One resident, Lilly Wilkinson, added: “The home is beautiful now since Lynsey came, we help to pick the decorations, you should see my bedroom it’s beautiful.
“All the staff are lovely, nothing is too much trouble, everyone is so kind.”
