A Monk Bretton youngster is celebrating after making it to the semi-finals of Miss Teen Great Britain.
Scarlett Maskill, nine, is now just one step away from making it to the final of next year’s Little Miss Teen GB event in Blackpool.
It’s her first event in the industry - but her mum Chantelle said her daughter can’t wait.
“We’ve just got her into some modelling agencies which are based in London and Manchester,” she said.
“She’s never done anything like this before but she’s so excited.
“Me and her dad are just so proud of her.
“She’s such a lovely kid - she’s a good one.
“We’re now going to be doing some charity work in the run up to the finalists being announced and then she’ll be able to compete in Blackpool next October.”
