A GROUP from Magna Colours Ltd put their best foot forward recently to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Barnsley Independent Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support (BIADS).

The group, which has links to BIADS through family members, chose BIADS as their charity because of the work they do in supporting the people of Barnsley whose lives are affected by dementia.

David Lee, who led the group, said: “After visiting BIADS on the Friday morning before we set off on Saturday July 24, it gave us a real sense of just how important BIADS are to a lot of people.

“We were given such a warm welcome by all the members, staff and volunteers and we were truly humbled by the time we left.”

It took the team 11 hours and 24 minutes to complete the challenge and they were thrilled with their time but more so with the amount raised which totalled £1,011.
