A Gilroyd man who organised a charity match has donated the funds to Barnsley Hospice.
Jordan Zaszlos, 37, completed his second fundraiser of the year – after raising £2,000 for Rose Hill Care Home – by taking part in a football match.
A total of £1,035 was raised and Jordan donated the money last week.
He said: “I want to say thank you to everyone who was involved. From the players to everyone who came to support the cause.
The hospice are chuffed to bits with the amount raised – what a day. Onto the next fundraiser now.”
