A SECONDARY school has launched a new space for their pupils in a bid to promote individuality and mental wellbeing.
Assistant principal at Penistone Grammar School, Katie Crook, said that the new space The Nest will offer an environment that allows their students to relax, socialise and nurture friendships.
Katie said: “The Nest has been designed to meet the needs of all our pupils.
“Each year group will be able to access the space one lunch time per week.
“Wellbeing and inclusivity are at the heart of everything we do at Penistone Grammar School and we are transforming the school to reflect a new generation and culture.
“Some of the personalised signs include Shakespearian quotes, with a modern twist.
“Other signs promote individuality and bravery.”
