A BARNSLEY market stallholder has made a donation to a men’s mental health support group.
The owner of Sailor Sid’s Sweets, Roger Ashton, donated a sweet box to Andy’s Man Club last week as a thank you for all they do for men in the community.
Andy’s Man Club provides men with free-to-attend peer support for those struggling with their mental health. They offer weekly sessions at Honeywell Sports College and Library @ the Lightbox in the town centre.
Roger said: “They are a group of volunteers who spend time bringing men together – it’s fantastic.
“This donation is in recognition of what they do and how they help people.”
