A NEW affordable shopping service has been launched for elderly residents across the borough.
Residents can receive support through home delivery, escorted shopping and online shopping from the Age UK Barnsley service.
Age UK Barnsley’s chief executive, Debby Bunn, said: “We are very pleased to announce the launch of our affordable shopping service for Barnsley residents aged 50 and over who may need a little extra support.
“From delivering your groceries, to take you to the shops, right through to helping you gain the skills and confidence to shop online – our affordable shopping service is here to help.
