A DOG owner was reportedly attacked by an ‘off-the-lead’ American Bully breed dog this morning.
South Yorkshire Police said: “We received a call at 7.30am on Thursday for reports of a dog being out of control on Genn Lane in Worsbrough.
“The owner of the dog is alleged to have been under the influence of drugs or alcohol and were unable to control the dog.
“Officers attended and enquiries are still ongoing to ascertain the circumstances and understand any injuries or distressed caused by the dog.
“Anyone with information is asked to report it via our online portal or 101 quoting incident number 268 of August 4.”
