A 43-YEAR-OLD woman has died after being bitten by a dog in West Melton on Friday.
South Yorkshire Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, at a property on Masefield Road, after being injured by the animal.
A 42-year-old man was also attacked and taken to hospital, suffering injuries to his hands, face and abdomen.
Two dogs were taken from the property by officers, and neither were a banned breed, police said.
