BARNSLEY are due to play their final three pre-season friendlies in a week starting from this weekend.
On Saturday the Reds host Premier League newboys Nottingham Forest from 5.30pm the first team pitch to finish off an open day in which the under 18s and women’s team will also play.
They then visit League Two club Harrogate Town on Wednesday from 7pm before hosting near neighbours Sheffield United on July 23 – a week before the season starts.
So far, the Reds have won 3-1 at non-league Worksop Town, 1-0 at League Two Walsall and drew 0-0 with League Two Crewe Alexandra on Saturday.
From 12pm on Saturday, Barnsley under 18s will host Lincoln City on the ‘showcase’ training pitch.
From 1.30pm, Barnsley Ladies host Sheffield City FC on the 4G astroturf pitch. For both games, 200 fans will be permitted to watch but a ticket is not required.
Turnstiles for Oakwell will open at 4pm.
Parking will only be available in the South Stand car park.
To obtain parking, you must present either a 22/23 season ticket or Nottingham Forest match ticket as well as a carpark ticket.
Following the match, Reds players and staff are due to join fans in the East Stand car park for autographs and photographs.
