AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after a shop was ram-raided in Kendray last weekend.
It’s believed that at around 2.35am on May 29, the One Stop store on Neville Avenue was targeted.
A police spokesperson added: “It is reported that the offenders rammed the security shutters allowing access to the shop.
“Once inside they took a quantity of cigarettes before fleeing the scene in the van.
“A burglary investigation has been launched and enquiries are ongoing.
“Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting incident number 154 of May 29.”
