BARNSLEY Football Club’s board has been shaken up after several members left with immediate effect.

Paul Conway, Chien Lee, Dickson Lee and Grace Hung all left their positions on the board following Barnsley’s relegation to League One.

Jean Cryne - Patrick’s wife - has subsequently agreed to serve as director for the club, as has Julie Anne Quay.

She has been nominated as a representative of the investors all pending approval from the English Football League (EFL).

The board now comprises Neerav Parekh, James Cryne, Jean Cryne, Julie Anne Quay, Khaled El-Ahmad and Robert Zuk.

Jean said: “As a collective, we will bring leadership to help the club reach its potential, providing a clear and transparent purpose.

“James and I love this football club and we will continue Patrick’s legacy in building a true community club.

“We are proud Barnsley fans and truly understand the emotion and connections associated with being a Red.”
