EMERGENCY services are currently on scene after a ‘suspicious package’ was found on a footbridge over the M1.
The motorway is closed between Junction 36 and 37 and is expected to remain closed for some time.
Specialist officers are on scene, on Gilroyd Lane, to establish exactly what the package is.
Please allow extra time for your journey and avoid the area if possible.
