THE majority of babies born at Barnsley Hospital in April were boys.
A total of 217 babies were born - 121 boys and 96 girls.
The heaviest baby was 11 pounds and two ounces whilst the smallest - who was born at 30 weeks - weighed two pounds.
One baby was born sleeping.
