OFFICERS in Barnsley are appealing for information after a man reportedly bit someone in a Hoyland pub.

It’s reported that on Friday, March 25, at around 5.30pm, a man was fighting in the Tap and Brew on Hoyland Road.

The alleged victim then tried to remove him from the pub but he was then bitten.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Enquiries have been ongoing and now officers are keen to identify the man in the image as he may be able to assist with enquiries.

“He is white and described as bald, approximately 35 years old, about 6ft tall and of large build.

“Do you recognise him?

“If you have any information, please contact 101 quoting incident number 168 of April 21.
