OCCUPANTS of a Kendray property were removed after a group of people attempted to cause damage to the house, police have said.
A video circulating on social media this week saw police escort residents from a home on Philip Road into their cars, surrounded by tens of onlookers.
A police spokesperson told the Chronicle: “Police received a report just after 4.15pm on Tuesday, March 29.
“It was reported that a group of people were attempting to cause damage to a property on Philip Road, Kendray.
“The occupants of the property were removed and there were no injuries reported.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
