BARNSLEY College bosses are encouraging students and staff to continue testing for Covid twice a week.
The government has now lifted all Covid-19 restrictions - but the college say they still have their own duty of care.
If students do test positive for Covid, they are allowed to attend college as long as they have no symptoms.
A spokesperson said: ”We would encourage everyone to continue testing twice a week, ensure you are regularly washing your hands and using hand sanitiser, if possible keep rooms well ventilated, and maintain social distancing if you can.
“There are plenty of Covid-19 test kits available on reception areas.
“If students do test positive for Covid-19, they should inform their tutor.
“They can continue to attend college if they have no symptoms but they must wear a mask and social distance from their peers and staff where possible.
“If students feel unwell, they shouldn’t come into college as was the case pre-Covid.”
