MORE than 200 babies were born at Barnsley Hospital last month.
A total of 218 women birthed their children and two sets of twins were born - 124 were boys and 96 were girls.
On January 4, 16 babies were born - the busiest day of the year so far.
The heaviest baby born was ten pounds whilst the smallest baby was two pounds, two ounces.
Three babies were born sleeping.
