BARNSLEY is one of the most naturally unhappy places in the UK, a new study has shown.
The data-led study by Beds Divians analysed more than 425 weather stations to find which area is scientifically the happiest.
Based on the total number of sunlight hours the area has over the winter period, the study shows Barnsley is the second-most naturally unhappy place in the United Kingdom.
It has 110 hours of winter sunlight, the joint-lowest with Bradford.
