A MAN was arrested on suspicion of drug driving on Sunday after a road traffic collision left another motorist with serious injuries.
The incident occurred at 11.20pm on Sunday on Manvers Way, at the junction of Catwood Drive in Wath-upon-Dearne.
A red Ford Fiesta and a Honda motorbike collided after the car turned onto Manvers Way.
The motorcyclist - a man in his 20s - was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The 18-year-old driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and has since been released under investigation.
A police spokesperson said: “Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with dashcam footage is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 0867 of Sunday, January 9.”
