Tonight's the night – the Proud of Barnsley Awards!
We are counting down the hours until we find out the winners of each award – we might be biased, but this year's event is shaping up to be the best yet.
Radio presenters, Stephanie Hirst and Steve White, are set to host the evening and Barnsley Youth Choir will be performing a set to open the show in style.
After a year full of lockdowns, we are looking forward to celebrating the best Barnsley has to offer and to reflect on the events of the past year.
Our finalists will find out who has won tonight in a glittering ceremony at the Metrodome.
Steph and Steve have been life-long friends and both say they are excited to be co-hosting tonight.
Steph is a veteran of Proud of Barnsley, having presented it six times in the past.
But it's a whole new experience for Steve.
Steph said: “Proud of Barnsley is always one of the highlights of my year.
“It's a real pleasure to be able to host the show – but the real stars are the finalists.
“Every year, there are such wonderful, heart-warming stories and I am sure this year will be no exception.
“I'm so looning forward to it.”
