BARNSLEY will be lit up in the coming weeks as the Bright Nights festival returns.
Every year, the town centre it lit up with a light show to kick-start the festive season.
This year, the Christmas lights will be switched on on November 25 and will feature a synchronised light show at the Town Hall.
Nine large willow beasts will be displayed in Churchfields Peace Gardens as part of the Fantastical Beasts by Night display which can be seen later this month.
Anyone who has symptoms of Covid-19, is self-isolating, or has tested positive for Covid-19 should not attend events.
